I’ve been loving the dialogs and the song preview of Udaan. Amit Trivedi gives some good music again and Amitabh Bhattacharya’s lyrics are awesome. And then, the dialogs…

Amitabh Bhattacharya is really refreshingly youthful, a much needed change over Javed Akhtar Ji or other legendary lyricist. Seems like Prashoon Joshi Ji is the next Javed Akhtar, while Amitabh Bhattacharya is unorthodox with a class of his own. Still remember the lyrics of Chakkar Ghumyo from Aamir.
Amit Trivedi has already proved himself by composing atleast 10 different genres of excellent songs in Dev D and I wait for his music more than that of A.R.Rahman ji now. Iktara (male version) is still the most played in my playlist.
By the way Harhit, do you have a last.fm account ?

Well, I have been loving Amitabh’s lyrics really well. With an exception of Gulzar Sahab, I don’t think anyone, even Prasoon, writes lyrics the way Amitabh is writing. Though Javed Akhtar and Prasoon Joshi are both ‘great’ lyricists in their own way.
Amit Trivedi is doing great too, but after Dev.D, nothing has come close to it yet. I was having high hopes from Aisha, but as of now, I probably won’t be too disappointed even if Aisha goes like his other albums.
The point I’m trying to make is that his work has been really good but the versatility seen in Dev.D looks kinda missing. I hope it comes back n I see something even better than Dev.D.
