Bhool gaye hain, joote kahan utare the.. 21

chhoti chhoti chhitrayi yaadein, bichhi hui hain lamhon ki lawn par, nange pair un par chalte chalte, itni door aa gaye hain, ki ab bhool gaye hain joote kahan utaare the.

I’ve been loving the dialogs and the song preview of Udaan. Amit Trivedi gives some good music again and Amitabh Bhattacharya’s lyrics are awesome. And then, the dialogs…

Here are the lyrics that I got from the theatrical trailer, read them, listen to them, love them.

kahani khatm hai, ya shuruaat hone ko hai
subah nayi hai ye, ya phir raat hone ko hai
aane wala waqt dega panaahen
ya phir se milenge doraahe
khabar kya, kya pata…

and an awesome end to the trailer with.. sach bhool gaye hain joote kahan utaare the, par lagta hai ab unki zaroorat nahi..

    Thanks for the lyrics Harshit.

Amitabh Bhattacharya is really refreshingly youthful, a much needed change over Javed Akhtar Ji or other legendary lyricist. Seems like Prashoon Joshi Ji is the next Javed Akhtar, while Amitabh Bhattacharya is unorthodox with a class of his own. Still remember the lyrics of Chakkar Ghumyo from Aamir.

Amit Trivedi has already proved himself by composing atleast 10 different genres of excellent songs in Dev D and I wait for his music more than that of A.R.Rahman ji now. Iktara (male version) is still the most played in my playlist.

By the way Harhit, do you have a last.fm account ?

Do you know what Track this is from the Soundtrack? I heard all 8 tracks and couldn’t figure out which is the song from the trailer

    I meant these lyrics,

“kahani khatm hai, ya shuruaat hone ko hai
subah nayi hai ye, ya phir raat hone ko hai
    aane wala waqt dega panaahen
    ya phir se milenge doraahe
    khabar kya, kya pata‚Ķ”

    Not the dialogue.

Well, I have been loving Amitabh’s lyrics really well. With an exception of Gulzar Sahab, I don’t think anyone, even Prasoon, writes lyrics the way Amitabh is writing. Though Javed Akhtar and Prasoon Joshi are both ‘great’ lyricists in their own way.

Amit Trivedi is doing great too, but after Dev.D, nothing has come close to it yet. I was having high hopes from Aisha, but as of now, I probably won’t be too disappointed even if Aisha goes like his other albums.

The point I’m trying to make is that his work has been really good but the versatility seen in Dev.D looks kinda missing. I hope it comes back n I see something even better than Dev.D.

btw, I don’t have a last.fm account. As of now.

Chhoti-chhoti chittrayin yaadein…. bichhi padi hai lamho ki lawn par.
Nange paer unpe chalte-chalte itni door aa
gaye hain, ki ab bhul gaye hai joote kahaan utare the
    .
    .
Aedi komal thi jab aaye the,
thodi si nazuk hai abhi bhi.. aur nazuk hi rahegi
    .
    .
In khatti-meethi yaadon ki shararat jab tak inhe gudgudati rahegi..
SACH.. BHOOL GAYE HAI JOOTE KAHAAN UTARE THE
    .
    .
PAR LAGTA HAI KE AB UNKI ZARURAT NAHIN..!!
