Hide and Seek is composed by three people Chirantan Bhatt, Gourov Dasgupta and Rakesh Batra. The first song of the album, Jingle Bells sounds like the popular ringtone which is a similar spoof on Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. The lyrics of the song are a bit okay, else, it’s a complete down. May be liked for one time or so.

The second song of the album is Kaise Jiyun, which is again sung by Krishna. Yes, the unlikely for him Jingle Bells was also sung by Krishna only. This one, Kaise Jiyun, is a good composition though the mixing is a bit too full of instruments and my guess is that the song could be better without some of the background. The song is anyway worth a try. The music and the lyrics, both are usual. If you hear the song, you are most likely not going to hate it, but then not going to love it either.

The third song of the album is Maula, sung by Suraj Jagan, the rockstar who got a sunshine from Swanand Kirkire in 3 Idiots. Yes, the singer of Give me some sunshine is in his usual rock mode singing yet another rock song, Maula. The song is not as rocking as Suraj is trying to make it here. The song could do with his normal voice but he tries to go almost in Zehreelay Zehreelay mode. Not bad, but not great again.

The next song of the album is Hide and Seek, the title song, sung by Jojo. The melody of the song (whatever is there) sounds familiar and there seems a desperate, too hard try to make the song heard. Result, barely an average song.

The last original song of the album is Friday Night Everybody to the Disco has so many small pieces of inspirations that I cannot even point them all. For example, there is this hey.. ho.. hey.. sounds quite like in Blue theme.

Overall Hide and Seek is a below average album with one or two okay songs. Nothing much to say. Start from Kaise Jiyun if you must.

Hi Harshit thanks for admitting that u r still learning. I guess then you should not comment on or review music. I am not against u saying whether u like or dislike a song as that is the right of any listener but please dont pass expert comments.
