Cham Cham Jani Ratein of Siddharth’s Striker is one of the best songs of Sonu Nigam I have heard in past some time. It’s a romantic song while the music of the song has a Sufi touch and it has been set in a qawwali tone. The best part of the song, besides Sonu’s singing, is the qawwali claps of the song which give the music a moving and stopping, kind of restricted rhythm. The lyrics of the song, written by Jeetendra Joshi, are wonderful. And so is Shailendra Barve’s music.

Rahman Is a person I cannot tell about. Or for that matter anyone. Now adnan Is not a legend for me, and If he sang the song, It would be less good than It Is now. Sun zara helps u guess that.
HarIharan could do justIce to the song In hIs own style. Though I don’t thInk the pace of the song matches hh’s style very much.
Lastly, If u make spb hum the song, u won’t have the subtle effect generated by musIc there. Spb has a grat voIce that can make any song good, but here the effect comes from both the voIce of the sInger and the Instruments In the background. Just got back from watching the movie. Without sparking off a fan-war, I think that Sonu Nigam has been one of the most talented, untapped, unappreciated artists. The rare raaa and the quivers in the “teri ada” lines are Vintage Sonu. Kinda reminiscent of Tu Fiza hai from Fiza. I was flabbergasted when in the third line, you finally realize that it was Sonu Nigam singing.
But again, class act, slow, sweet as saccharine, goes right to the heart and stays there
Thou its not my kinda genre.. but A Mind-Boggling song..!! One really can feel the love around while listening to this track..!! this surrounds some heavenly vibe around for sure..!! Mr. Sonu Nigam.. Did it again.!! Nice work… Love dis song..!! Praise Music..!! Music heals..!!! \m/
