It’s a bit difficult to believe, but finally it’s coming true. The Bangalore Screenwriting Workshop is here. With the biggies named here as mentors.
After some hard work by Arvind Kamath and his team, the Bangalore Screenwriting Workshop ’09 (BSW) is going to start on the 12th Dec and will be there for two weekends and one adjoining Monday, that is 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th and 21st December, 12 to 7PM.
The Workshop plans to start from What is a Screenplay and teach the nuances of the screenwriting. By the end of the workshop, participants will have to form groups of 5 and work on a 5-7 minutes script and submit it by the first week of January. Chosen teams will be provided with Camera, basic lights, a supporting crew for a day, and editing facility to make the film. And films will be premiered at the Bangalore Roof Top Film Festival in the month February 2010.
